The International Strategy Group (ISG) is responsible for the coordination of the European energy regulators’ activities in the fields of international cooperation and training.

In 2012, ISG will continue to focus on the implementation of its revised action plan for international cooperation; will follow up bilateral dialogues with other associations of energy regulatory authorities.

Within this framework of contacts, ISG continually underlines the crucial role of independent energy regulatory authorities and the importance of promoting secure, sustainable and affordable energy supplies.

The ISG also coordinates the regulators' cooperation with the Florence School of Regulation and the International Energy Regulation Network (IERN), as well as CEER's input as one of the members of the International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER).
