NEW DEADLINE - EXTENSION UNTIL 27 MARCH 2009

Today, 26 January 2009, ERGEG launches a public consultation entitled ERGEG Principles: Capacity allocation and congestion management in the natural gas transmission network. See "Consultation Documents" folder.

This public consultation sets out ERGEG’s approach to capacity allocation mechanisms (CAM) and congestion management (CMP) principles for the European gas grid.

ERGEG welcomes responses from all interested parties. Responses should be sent by email to cam-cmp@ergeg.org. The closing date for responses is 20 March 2009.

A public hearing on this consultation was held in Brussels on 18th February. See the Public Hearing tab for further information.

Following the public consultation period, ERGEG will publish all comments received from stakeholders. If a respondent would like ERGEG to treat their contribution as confidential, this must be explicitly stated in their submission. If possible, confidential information should be provided as a separate annex, so that the main document may be published.
