E06-PC-16: Guidelines for Good Practice on Open Season
ERGEG Public Consultation 2006/12/07 - 2007/01/19

    Background
    Consultation Documents
    Public Responses

On 7th December 2006 the ERGEG launched a public consultation on  Draft Guidelines of Good Practice for Open Season Procedures. Procedures. Open season procedures generally consist of a two-step process starting with an open assessment of market demand for a specific proposal (first step) and a subsequent phase of capacity allocation (second step).

These draft Guidelines were prepared on foot of a request of the  European Commission at the 11th Madrid Forum (18-19 May 2006). The guidelines aim at clarifying the role of open season procedures in light of Commission’s draft explanatory notes on Article 5 (1 – 5) as well as Annex 2.1 and 2.2 of Regulation 1775/2005/EC.

ERGEG invites all interested parties to comment on issues raised in the text.  If a respondent would like ERGEG to treat their submission with confidentiality, this must be explicitly mentioned.

Any comments should be received by 19th January 2007 and should be sent to:
openseason@ergeg.org
