Presentations from the Public Hearing on Draft EC Transmission Tarification Guidelines:

 Public Hearing
ERGEG invited all interested parties to a Public Hearing on Thursday 30 June 2005 in Brussels, Belgium. The Hearing concerns draft Guidelines on Congestion Management and on Transmission Tarification, which are subject of public consultation.

 Responses received:

ERGEG, following a request from the European Commission, has developed and further refined the drafts of Guidelines on Transmission Tarification presented in September 2004. It is intended that, following public consultation and formal ERGEG advice, they be adopted by the Commission as binding Guidelines as provided for in Regulation 1228/2003.

On 10 August 2004 ERGEG set out its commitment to consult on the development of policy recommendations and other relevant matters and published its consultation procedures. Such procedures recognize the importance of providing expert input and views, and the need to consult a full range of interested parties in a transparent way.

Accordingly, ERGEG invited comments from any interested parties concerning the enclosed draft Guidelines on Transmission Tarification and on the Explanatory Notes to the Guidelines. Amendments to the September 2004 text are visible on the text of these documents.

Next it can be downloaded introductory notes where each consultation process is explained and the Draft Guidelines subject to consultation.
